Topic Expansion

In 20th century Germany medicine was still expanding. Some of the biggest discoveries (medicine boom) were discovered in this time. One important discovery was that of Bayer aspirin which is still found in stores today. Another thing that was happening in early Germany was the introduction of universal health care. Today in our country universal health care is being debated so seeing how that is still in play/use today is quite intriguing. During the reign of the Nazi, they “tested” drugs on the Jews in concentration camps essentially killing them. In an attempt to create a “perfect” soldier, the Nazi’s created a cocaine based drug to keep them going for hours without tiring.
